Project T. I. P. S. A.P. Summer Reading WebQuest |

Welcome to your first WebQuest! You were required to read three texts over the summer: Frankenstein: or The Modern Prometheus, 1984, and “Nature”. Your first project of this year will be based on one of these three texts. In this project, you will be asked to analyze one of the texts you have read in terms of conflicts and social problems which relate to today’s society. Afterwards, you will be asked to research and gather evidence on the social problem. Additionally, you will evaluate current public policy and suggest new policy in solution to the social problem. Finally, you will evaluate your efforts and those of your classmates. As you work through this project, you will fill out worksheets documenting your progress. The final product of your work will be decided by you. You may create a PowerPoint presentation to share your findings with the class, write to officials in charge of creating or revising the policy you have researched, write to publish your information to help share the information within a certain community, create a display to disseminate the information within the school, or maybe create a video, audio, or webpage to help share your information! You have the choice which of the three texts and which social problem you will define, research, evaluate, and present. Go forth and have fun!
