How To Create A PPA Webquest:

I.                 Presentation of a simple, model PPA WebQuest that the teachers can duplicate.

 

II.             Components of a PPA WebQuest (explain each section for the teachers)

 

A.     Introduction:  Includes a description of the social problem or topic

B.     Task:  What you expect the students to do with the problem or the topic.

C.  Process:  Include steps that you want the students to follow (TIPS Methodology) 

D.  Resources:  Search engines that the students can use to do their research as well as websites selected by the teacher.

E. Evaluation:  Includes a rubric made by the teacher to assess students on the task assigned.  It also includes New York State Learning Standards. 

F.  Conclusion:  A summary of what the students have accomplished and an encouragement for students to continue to create and use future WebQuests.

 

III.         Presentation of an unacceptable WebQuests and point out what to avoid.
