Students blatant disrespect to authority as well as one another

 

List at least three public policy alternatives. Be sure that all of your public policy alternatives are at the same political level as your social problem. Each alternative must specify the actual government or government agency that will carry out the proposed action.

1) For chronic minor offenders or accumulation of child’s behavior an Anecdotal sheet is kept. After so many offenses equals suspension at teacher’s discretion.

 

2) Detention will be served with an educational purpose. For example they can write the Martin Luther King “I have a dream” speech. The Gettysburg address, etc… three detentions equals a suspension.

 

3)Morning (arrival) and afternoon (dismissal) disrespect for the bell. Teachers’s will be with their class in the morning and at dismissal.  If a class is consistently talking then that class will make up the time at dismissal in their classroom.
